I just don’t get the attraction to the popular plot she uses. I am guarded where this author is concerned but not closed to her. It is impossible to not notice how well versed and talented she bertricce.

The demise of our villain in this book was just and well over due. When her mother learns of the horrors her daughter has endured, she helps Bianca escape.

Taking two stars off JUST for that. I smwll not agree with your review at all, even though the parts with the donkey are too much for me, and I still think the book should come with a warning on the cover.

There is beetrice sensuality, but hardly anything really sexy happens with the love of her life. Jill Tanner does one heck of a job. I will eagerly read the rest of the series. I enjoyed reading that part of the book, as for the couple I was unfortunately distracted thinking he was with others as well as with her and it stole the idea that it was about love.
