I borrowed this book a number of years ago from a college buddy- despite some of the A-List contributors, its existence was news to me guess I don’t actually read that much horror fiction. She writes novels about the New Orleans skpp indstry now but she had a good hot run in the early to mids as the young horror princess. The contraption engulfed her head like a thick,too-tight glove. Not one long story about some zombie apocalypse but more like a bunch of stories about personal encounters and things.

It was inexpensive, in ok condition considering it’s a used book and almost 25 years old. However, there is also a lot going on “upstairs” so to speak.
The rest are at least well written and interesting. I have no skiipp what George actually said in the forward, but I am sure sure it was a oc recognition of his own stature as the father of the genre.
But when the dead begin to rise on Genneseault Island, Maddie has already forced herself to cope.

There is nothing much to remember about last summer. The Lusty Ladies of Paperback Horror. Maybe it has something to do of when it came out – Romero was pushing the envelope by always having a point in his horror with social commentary. Calcutta, Lord of Nerves made me a Brite fan.
Romero Supposedly, all of the stories in the book were either set in George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” universe or were deeply inspired by it. Aug 27, Doug Allison rated it really liked it.
